Get rewarded for spreading the word about Toast! Refer a restaurant and, once they’ve become a Qualified Referral, you could receive a bonus from your friends at Toast. Please review the legal terms below before submitting a referral.
Effective July 15, 2020.
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to Toast’s Referral Program (the “Program”). By submitting a referral for a restaurant or otherwise participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Toast’s Privacy Policy.
Who is Eligible to Participate?
Toast employees, consultants, investors, and friends who refer a restaurant to Toast through the online referral form or in writing to a Toast employee may be eligible to receive a $500 referral bonus. Existing Toast customers who refer a restaurant to Toast may be eligible to receive a $1,000 referral bonus.
Who is Not Eligible to Participate?
Toast technical integration and strategic partners with existing referral programs
Toast employees within the Sales organization or authorized Toast Resellers
Restaurant owners, operators, or business decision makers are not permitted to refer their own restaurants.
Franchisors who are responsible for making the POS purchasing decision for its franchisees, are not eligible to receive Bonus Payouts for any franchisee referrals.
Subject to these Terms, for each “Qualified Referral” that meets the following criteria, you will receive the applicable Bonus Payout listed below. A “Qualified Referral” is a restaurant that:
is referred to Toast either through the online referral form, or in writing (email is acceptable) to an existing Toast employee, verbal referrals are unable to be verified and will not be accepted;
is not an existing lead in the Toast system (Toast reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine the original lead source. Exceptions may be made, in Toast’s sole discretion, if the referral has not been contacted by Toast for at least 6 months); and
Has entered into a Merchant Agreement Initial Order Form with Toast, and has been live, processing transactions on the Toast platform for at least thirty (30) days.
A referral bonus of $500 for non-customers, and $1000 for existing Toast customers will be issued for each Qualified Referral.
The referring party must complete an electronic W9 and ACH form before a Bonus Payout can be issued.
Bonus Payouts will be issued to the individual referrer in the form of direct deposit to the account specified on the provided ACH Form
Limit to one referral Bonus Payout per restaurant brand or group.
There is no limit to the number of referrals an individual can submit, or eligible Bonus Payouts for Qualified Referrals an individual can receive, while the Program is effective.
Toast will determine, in its sole discretion, whether a referral is a Qualified Referral eligible for a Bonus Payout.
With respect to each restaurant brand or group (as defined above), for any Qualified Referral submitted between September 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020, an individual is eligible for a bonus payout as set forth above for the first Qualified Referral (as defined above) and $250 per each subsequent Qualified Referral for up to five (5) Qualified Referrals. Each Qualified Referral must enter into a Merchant Agreement Initial Order Form with Toast for POS services, and go live, processing transactions on the Toast platform for at least seven days by March 31, 2021.
Toast reserves the right to modify these Terms or terminate the Program at any time, in its sole discretion, without notice, however, we will employ commercially reasonable efforts to post a notice on the referral website.
