Make your digital ordering channels work for you! 

Luckily, the Digital Ordering Suite allows you to save money through commission-free* channels like Order with Google, Toast Take Out, and Toast Delivery Services, all powered by your Online Ordering site. 

Follow these steps and use it as a tool to meet new and repeat guests digitally:

  • Make sure your Online Ordering link is in clear view on your website. Here’s how to find your Online Ordering URL and post it to your website.

  • Make sure you are taking advantage of these additional online ordering channels, all powered by Toast Online Ordering so you can continue to save on first party orders:

    • Order with Google: Here is how to ensure this channel is enabled within Toast Web - this gives guests the ability to order from your restaurant directly through Google Search & Maps.

*Pro Tip: Set Order with Google (visible as Toast’) as your “preferred ordering provider” to help encourage guests to choose that channel

More donation flexibility and built-in donation disbursements!

In the coming weeks, you will see some exciting enhancements to the fundraising product.

Donation flexibility - in addition to the existing Round Up donation option, you will now be able to prompt guests to donate in flat $ amounts, e.g. $1, $3, $5.

Built-in donation disbursements - no need to go through the extra work to transfer the money you've raised to the cause you are supporting. With help from our partner, Benevity, funds raised in your campaign for registered 501(c)(3) charities will now automatically be sent to the cause! These funds are subject to a 3% disbursement fee by Benevity that will be deducted from the fundraising total for your campaign. Note that for Individual/Group campaigns you are still responsible for donating the collected funds directly to the cause once the campaign has ended. Please note that all donations made through Toast Fundraising are subject to your standard credit card processing rates. 

Increased campaign length limit - campaigns for 501(c)(3) charities can now be run for up to 60 days.

Improved accounting report support - if you utilize the Toast accounting report, you can now map a single Fundraising entity to your preferred GL Code, rather than needing to map service charges for each fundraising campaign.
