OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE AT LEAST EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OLD AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. 

The Toast Orange Ticket Promotion (“Promotion”) is sponsored by Toast, Inc. located at 333 Summer Street, Boston, Massachusetts, 02210 (“Sponsor” or “Toast”). 

1. PROMOTION PERIOD:  The Promotion begins on May 18, 2024, at 10:00 Central Time (“CT”) and ends on May 20, 2024, at 05:00 CT or, if sooner, whenever the first 235 participants complete their bingo boards (“Promotion Period”). The Promotion consists of a “Bingo-style” contest and a “Sweepstakes.” The Sponsor’s computer is the Promotion’s official clock.

2. ELIGIBILITY:  This Promotion is offered only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry and are registered and attending the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago, Illinois on May 20, 2024.  Officers, directors and employees of Sponsor and any of their respective owners, parent companies, affiliates, directors, subsidiaries, franchisees, representatives, advertising, promotion and production agencies, agents (all such individuals and entities collectively referred to herein as the “Promotion Entities”) and their immediate family members (i.e., spouse, parent, child, sibling, and the “steps” of each) and persons living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. 

Attempting to enter or participating in the Promotion constitutes participant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Participants and/or potential winners may be required to provide proof of identification and eligibility as required by Sponsor. 

For purposes of the Promotion, a participant’s residential address and e-mail address will be the physical address and e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. Participants will not be allowed to change their or to use another’s physical address or e-mail address. 

3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE:  During the Promotion Period, eligible participants must obtain bingo boards from @toasttab Instagram Stories or in-person at the Toast Booth and complete any 3 of the activities listed on the board. The first 235 participants who complete their tasks and bring it to the Toast Booth (Booth #5814) will receive an Orange Ticket. The back of the ticket reveals the prize that the participant has won. 

1. Activities 

    The types of activities participants can choose from are found below.  Participants can choose any 3 activities including collecting their ticket from the Toast Booth. Certain activities require documentation to prove they were completed.

Some of the activities require the use of an Instagram account and others require the use of a TikTok account. Participants may create an Instagram account at no cost by logging on to http://instagram.com. Creation of an Instagram account requires a participant to agree to Instagram’s Terms of Service and subjects the participant to Instagram’s Privacy Policy, available at http://instagram.com/about/legal/terms/ and http://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/, respectively. Participants may create a TikTok account at no cost by logging on to https://www.tiktok.com/. Creation of a TikTok account requires a participant to agree to TikTok’s Terms of Service and subjects the participant to TikTok’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.tiktok.com/legal/page/us/terms-of-service/en and https://www.tiktok.com/legal/page/us/privacy-policy/en, respectively.  This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram or TikTok. Each participant specifically agrees to release Instagram and TikTok from any and all liability associated with this Promotion.

4. PRIZES, ODDS OF WINNING, AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): 

1. Prizes:  The following prizes are available during the Promotion Period while supplies last. 

2. Grand Prize:  There will be one (1) Grand Prize available in the Promotion.  The ARV of the Grand Prize is $5,000.00. The Toast Grand Prize is $5,000 sent via direct deposit due net 45 days, after the winner’s completion of Toast’s procurement process. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC for the Grand Prize Winner and the winner will be required to sign a Statement of Eligibility and Release provided by Toast.

3. Total ARV:  The total ARV of all available prizes in the Promotion is $ 13,900.00.

4. Odds of Winning Grand Prize/Limit:  The odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the total number of eligible participants during the Promotion Period but in no event will the odds of winning the Grand Prize be less than 1 in 235. 

5. Prize Details and Restrictions: Terms and conditions of Toast Cash Codes apply. Winner must protect the Toast Cash Codes and treat the Digital Gift Codes as he/she would any other valuable document. The Toast Cash Codes will not be redeemed or exchanged for cash. The Toast Cash Codes will not be replaced or replenished if it lost, stolen, damaged, destroyed or used without the winner’s permission and will be voided if altered or defaced.  The right to receive a prize is non-assignable, non-transferable and no prize substitution, exchange or cash equivalent will be allowed, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in case of unavailability of a prize or force majeure, at Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. Promotion Entities shall not be held responsible for any delays in awarding the prize for any reason.

6. General: In no event will more prizes be awarded than are stated in these Official Rules. In the event that, due to technical, typographical, mechanical or other errors, there are more winners than are stated in these Official Rules, a random drawing among the claimants will be held to determine the potential winners. If for any reason, including but not limited to an administrative, printing, production, computer or other error or due to technical difficulties or incorrect announcements of any kind, more winning tickets/messages are distributed, or more prizes are claimed than are intended to be awarded according to these Official Rules, the intended number of prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all verified prize claims received for that prize. If, after a good-faith attempt, Sponsor is unable to award or deliver a prize, the prize may not be re-awarded.

If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and/or proceed with the Promotion, including the selection of winners in a manner it deems fair and reasonable including the selection of winners from among eligible participants and their complete or partially complete “bingo cards” received prior to such cancellation, termination, modification or suspension.
