Introducing National Restaurant Week, served by Toast

National Restaurant Week celebrates the restaurants at the center of our communities

Restaurants touch all of us. They are the soul of our communities. In the U.S. alone, there are approximately 800,000 restaurants employing over 11 million people, and if there’s someone who doesn’t enjoy sitting down for a meal from one of their local spots, we’ve yet to meet them. 

Restaurants pivoted, innovated, and welcomed us through challenging times this past year and they did so not just for their own survival but for the communities they love and serve. Restaurants have been there for us, and we’ll continue to be there for them.

That’s why we want to invite everyone to join us in celebrating the first ever National Restaurant Week, served by Toast, October 4 through October 10. Participating is simple:

1. Eat “at” (take out or delivery works, too) a local restaurant. You can use the Toast TakeOut app to order from your favorite restaurants without the wait. 

2. Post a photo sharing your experience on social media that tags the restaurant and includes #NationalRestaurantWeek.

3. You’ll be entered to win a $200 gift card to a participating restaurant of your choice (find those in your area here.) *terms apply
